About

Why DishShots exists

Most restaurants have photos of three dishes and a menu of forty. A professional shoot of every plate costs more than a small kitchen can spend, so the rest of the menu stays a list of names.

DishShots splits the job into missions. People who already eat out take a mission near them, photograph the plates on the list, and get paid for it. Restaurants get their whole menu photographed, dish by dish, at a price a small place can afford.

Who runs it

DishShots is built and run by Lucky Ranasinghe at MADITECH, a small studio in Washington State that builds AI-assisted products. A person reads every request. Write to [email protected] with anything.
