What is a dish photo mission?

A dish photo mission is a paid task: photograph a listed set of dishes at one named restaurant before a deadline. The mission states its pay, the dishes and the rules before you accept, and you are paid once a person approves the photos.

What a mission tells you up front

The restaurant, the dishes, the deadline, the pay and whether the meal is covered. If any of those is missing, it is not a mission yet.

What a good dish photo needs

Light from the side, usually a window. The whole plate in the frame. An angle that suits the food: straight down for flat dishes like pizza, about 45 degrees for most plates, and eye level for tall ones like burgers and layered desserts.

How approval works

A person checks each photo against the list: right dish, sharp, nothing eaten, nothing cropped off. If a photo misses, we tell you which one and why, and you can reshoot it before the deadline.

Quick answers

Can I photograph in any restaurant?

Missions are for restaurants that asked for photos, or that allow diners to take pictures of their own food. Never photograph other diners or the kitchen without permission.

Do I need a real camera?

No. A recent phone, a clean lens and a window seat are enough for most missions.
